Instructional design and development consulting with various clients including Learnquest and UnitedHealthcare Group. I was the responsible for project management of each course including managing remote Subject Matter Experts and developers.

OpenStack Technical Training Manager: March 2011 – August 2011 (remote)
I was responsible for developing the entire technical training program for the open OpenStack Cloud Computing project. I developed the Training Business plan, outlined the full IT infrastructure that included selecting a Learning Management system(Moodle) that integrated with the existing e-commerce payment system and Salesforce for customer tracking. I was the project manager who selected and hired technical instructors, developed instructional materials for classroom, e-learning and virtual delivery methodologies.

I was the Project manager responsible for all courseware development and deployment. I developed the training business plans, including budget development for each course both in terms of time, resources and financials. I also selected and hired vendors and internal resources.
In less than two years I transformed our course portfolio from only two courses to over a dozen new and updated courses in e-learning, virtual classroom and classroom formats. I was responsible from start to finish for contractor selection, gathering internal and external resources, writing Request for Proposals, selecting vendors, writing contracts, developing and negotiating budgets, project scheduling and managing technical integration with our Moodle Learning Management system and other technical systems (Salesforce, Launchpad) to support our course sales and delivery.

I was assigned as an Instructional Designer and Curriculum Developer in support of NASA’s Human Spaceflight program for both the Space Shuttle and International Space Station Systems groups My projects included design and development of new lessons and lesson revisions for astronaut and flight controller training. We developed lessons for eLearning, live and virtual classroom environments, including advanced simulators and space equipment mock-up facilities.. Our process utilizes task analysis, application of the ADDIE model, rapid prototyping and the application of various adult learning theory methodologies. I also helped deliver the Instructor Training Course (Train the Trainer) program for all technical instructors.
